About RCDFA

In 2017, a 501(c)(3) organization (RCDFA) was created to help support the Reno County Drug Court, the county’s substance use treatment court. The name “drug court” can be deceiving. It is neither funded by the courts nor the Kansas Department of Corrections. The program relies on grant dollars.

Reno County Drug Free Alliance Mission Statement

RCDFA exists to reduce harmful substance use and substance‑related crime in Reno County by educating the community, raising awareness, and supporting community‑based collaborations to promote a substance‑free Reno County.

Activities

RCDFA advocates for Reno County Drug Court, the county’s substance use treatment court, helps educate the community about substance use and substance‑related crime in Reno County, and raises money to help treatment court partner agencies provide services. As part of its mission, RCDFA supports community‑based programs that seek to educate the public, reduce substance use, and prevent substance‑related crime.
